One of the advantages of living alongside a park and native growth corridor is that we have quite a bit of wildlife that comes to visit. Not always pleasant visits I might add with the ringtail possums quite happy to clean up any seedlings I plant in the vegetable garden or any uneaten bird seed left overnight. And that's not all, with the constant thump as they run across the roof during the night and fight each other.
Still, it's lovely to have them and the bird life around and it almost makes up for the constant raking up of the leaves and branches that fall or are blown from the surrounding eucalyptus (gum) trees.
I've put together a few photos we've gathered over the past few years.
